Nunn-Better Mini Chunks can be fed wet or dry. If moistened, add 1/4 cup of water for each cup of Nunn-Better Mini Chunks. The feeding rates shown are guidelines and will vary with activity, climate temperature, lifestage, breed, etc. Be sure to keep your pet in good condition and check weight regularly. Seek out veterinary advice on the health and target weight. Puppies may be started on Nunn-Better Mini Chunks as soon as they are old enough to take solid nourishment (approximately 5 to 6 weeks of age). Puppies should be fed more often (four times per day) providing food for fifteen minute intervals free choice. Pregnant and lactating female dogs will require two to three times as much food as adult feeding guidelines shown. When switching to a new food and decrease the old food over a 7 to 10 day period of time until your pet is completely eating Nunn-Better Mini Chunks. Provide fresh water in a clean water bowl daily. Recommended Daily Feeding Amounts: Toy (4-12 lbs): 1/2 to 1-1/2 cups daily amount (dry basis). Small (13-24 lbs): 1-1/2 to 3 cups daily amount (dry basis). Medium (25-49 lbs): 3-5 cups daily amount (dry basis). Large (50-80 lbs): 5-8 cups daily amount (dry basis). Use a standard 8 oz dry measuring cup.
